The Mission
The Offering
We offer support groups, Clothing + More Drives, furniture assistance, and guidance with navigating available resources and services to current and former foster youth ages 17–24. Through resource connections, access to essential items, creative expression, and community involvement, we work to make resources more accessible, create spaces for individuals to share their experiences, and bring people together through shared understanding and support. We believe in standing in the gap by helping young people recognize their potential and know that they are seen, heard, and never alone.

Growing into adulthood comes with new experiences, decisions, and challenges, and no one should have to figure it all out alone. Having access to essential resources, spaces for shared experiences, and a community of support can make a difference along the way. Every young person deserves the chance to move forward beyond their circumstances, discover their potential, and create a future of their own.
Our ultimate goal is to stand in the gap for our foster youth community. We recognize that we can’t do it all, but we can focus on and excel in the areas where we know we can make a difference.
As an organization, we aim to provide additional support and resources to foster youth, making sure they know their options and understand that they are fully capable of navigating adulthood

The Why
- I’m personally able to understand the hardships, trauma, and pain that youth experiencing foster care endure. I entered the foster care system when I was 13 years old and I was extremely fortunate to have mentors and caring adults surround me and help me with the hardships. Thanks to those mentors and caring adults my life changed for the better.
- Let’s change more youth’s lives together today.
- In honor of my father, James Earl Harris Sr., he originally created For All People There Is Hope and he did the work for more than 25 years. He wanted to help people and I wanted to take on the torch and extend the grace to foster youth. In honor of my mother, Rajanne Jefferson, For All People There Is Hope will extend grace to parents who were in similar situations she faced with the foster system. So, there is very much in store for our organization.
