For All People There Is Hope is breaking the barriers of foster youth stereotypes to better equip them for adulthood. Creating space for growth and change through counseling, healing support groups, job preparation and proper resources to housing accessibility
The ultimate goal is to stand in the gap as an organization to help our youth. We can’t do it all but we can focus and excel in the areas that we know how to do best.
We as an organization would like to be additional support and help provide resources to foster youth. Making sure they know there options and they know they are fully capable of entering into the adult world.

The Why
- I’m personally able to understand the hardships, trauma, and pain that youth experiencing foster care endure. I entered the foster care system when I was 13 years old and I was extremely fortunate to have mentors and caring adults surround me and help me with the hardships. Thanks to those mentors and caring adults my life changed for the better.

- In honor of my father, James Earl Harris Sr., he originally created For All People There Is Hope and he did the work for more than 25 years. He wanted to help people and I wanted to take on the torch and extend the grace to foster youth. In honor of my mother, Rajanne Jefferson, For All People There Is Hope will extend grace to parents who were in similar situations she faced with the foster system. So, there is very much in store for our organization.
